than 40 times that of acrylic clear sheet. It is the perfect material

be fabricated to function as a customised see- through machine
guard.
The tough but lightweight Safeguard PC is easy to handle
and suitable for use in machine surrounds and as protective panels
in applications traditionally served by similar material. In addition
to outstanding strength and impact resistance, transparent Safeguard
panels enhance safety and save time by keeping functioning machinery
in full view.

FABRICATION OF SAFEGUARD PC
Safeguard PC is an easy to fabricate material.
It will give you the confidence of SAFE employee protection suited
to your equipment.
• Cutting - This can be done using circular saws, band
saws, hole saws, power jig saws, shears and guillotines.
• Drilling - Holes can be drilled using standard
drill bits used for metal work.
• Bending - panels can be cold formed using a metal bending
brake press or panels can be sent by means of pipe heater strips
at 160°C - 200°C.
TURNING - MILLING - ROUTING - TAPPING - FILING - GRINDING - POLISHING
- BONDING
Can all be easily performed on Safeguard PC. Never use oil
emulsions or cutting oils as these lead to stress cracking. For

in SAFETY / SECURITY applications to protect against vandalism and
